Privacy Notice

This is a plain-language draft for the Founders Alpha. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

• Account data we hold: your email address, a password hash (never the password), and timestamps.
• Waitlist data: your email and the optional experience line you give us, used only to send an invitation.
• Your campaign (story, characters, saves) lives in a private world that only your account can reach.
• Game prompts and relevant campaign context are processed by Eternal Tavern's managed AI provider to generate fictional responses.
• We keep security and usage logs (including model token counts) to run and protect the service.
• No advertising, no trackers, no selling data. Cookies are used for sign-in and form security only.
• Deleting your account removes the live account and campaign. Encrypted copies can remain in protected backups for up to 12 months under the backup-retention schedule, and deletion records prevent restoration of access.
• Historical encrypted provider credentials supplied during earlier tests can remain inside retained backups until those backups expire.
