Terms of Service

This is a plain-language draft for the Founders Alpha. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer, and it will be replaced before any paid service exists.

• The alpha is free test software offered as-is: features change, things break, and campaign worlds may be reset or lost.
• You must be 18 or older to take part.
• One account per person; do not share your sign-in.
• Story content is AI-generated fiction and may be inaccurate or unexpected.
• We may pause or throttle sessions to manage capacity and cost, and may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
• Eternal Tavern manages the AI service during this free Alpha. Managed hosting is expected to become paid in the future, but no payment is required during this test.
• You can delete your account at any time from the account page; deletion removes the live campaign world. Encrypted backups expire under the retention policy described in the Privacy Notice.
